If I could rate this place 10 stars, I would. This is one of the nicest shops in the area and combined with John and his team, you'd be crazy not to come here. John took the time to explain everything about my car, and even saved me money where it didn't need to be spent! If you want honest and quality auto repair, look no further. Plus, their new request a quote feature on the website made my life so much easier!

i brought my Chevy Suburban to John and his technicians for a complete transmission rebuild. After diagnosing the problem (s), working with my other mechanic to troubleshoot, hunting down noises , ordering specific parts ......they fixed it! My Suburban runs beautifully. I know it was a challenge but they would not let my take the SUV home until they were satisfied it was completely repaired. Highly recommend!

was told I need certain work by dealership to the tune of a million dollars lol brought by car down and Tito and John gave me a honest estimate and a fair price. their candor brought me some time to get my cash together and get the work done. great service all around, would highly recommend.
My overall experiences at AAMCO have been great. John has always taken the time to fit me in at the last minute for whatever issue that has occurred with my car. The environment is always welcoming and he always gives me an affordable price for top notch service. I recently had an issue with my hood latch so I dropped into the shop and he had his mechanic take care of it for me in a matter of 10mins. John and his team at AAMCO are a great group of guys that gets the job done. I recommend all my family and friends.

If I had to describe AAMCO in one word it would be... Greatness. The most helpful and time efficient shop that I ever dealt with. Had a transmission problem it only took 3 business days to fix, while other shop told me 2weeks. All jokes aside any problems with your car go to AAMCO (Roslindale) the best

My Volvo had so many symptoms, I was sure it was done. The AAMCO team listened intently and went to work. I really was happy they use stock parts. Bottom line, for a reasonable cost the car is running smoothly and good for another 100K miles. Thanks to their great team, Rich

This has been my only positive experience at a car shop, EVER. I always feel taken advantage of at car shops because I'm not very knowledgeable about cars but this wasn't the case here at all. Dave the owner was so helpful and kept me in the loop with everything and the price was great. Will be returning here for any future car work.
I could not have been happier. They were honest, gave me everything in writing. Great price...way less than my VW dealer and now my car is happy and so am I!!!
6/5 STARS! i dont exaggerate when i say this has been the most pleasant car repair experience of my life. i walked in there with my head down after not being able to drive for over 3 weeks and within 3 hours all my problems were solved. My transmission now runs more smooth than ever before. On top of that the customer service was excellent, all the right questions were asked and the patience with my incompetence was really appreciated. If you ever have the pleasure of dealing with Jeff I guarantee you will be inspired to write a review along with this one. Its always scary to bring your car to a shop when you can't be sure of the integrity of the work there, but this place really was exceptional in every way. Thanks again Jeff you really took the time to help a stranger in need.

John is the nicest mechanic I’ve met. My car’s transmission died an hour from home and had it towed to him. Thank God it broke down near him! Him and his staff were patient and kind. Took it right in and stored it for me for a week without charge. Very approachable place, no talking down to you and clearly cares about people. They turned a stressful situation into an easier one. I did read the reviews before I sent it to them and I can attest the high rating is justified.
